Deborah Hocutt

Deborah is a former high school teacher with extensive experience teaching AP U.S. history and government classes. She’s worked at the Library of Virginia as director of the Virginia Center for the Book and as a literary manager for novelist David Baldacci. She’s a voracious reader of a wide range of fiction.

The Jamestown Chronicles represents her first foray into historical fiction with a romantic twist. The three-book sequence follows the uneasy relationship between unlikely lovers during the Jamestowne Colony’s early years, starts in 1611.
